The Mission
Our mission with the “Schools Out” Youth Summer Program is to educate the youth with the tools necessary to develop their skills in the areas of business education and the creative arts.
The youth will be inspired to invest in themselves and their communities in order to secure a better future for themselves upon highschool graduation and beyond.
The “School’s Out” Program is a youth summer program created by the selected Saint Luke’s Grant Recipients: Hood Honey, Jah’s Catering LLC, Gem-N-Me Empowerment, Ashley B “Childhood Advocate”, and The Destination Dream Foundation.
The program will operate over a span of 4 weeks running from July 17th until August 21st 2023 focused on the youth in the Buckeye, Ward 4 area.
The program will operate on a modeled college structure basis as we will utilize the syllabus and guidance counselor structure when placing students with their desired category of interest.
Teaching instructors will teach a select number of students at one of the selected locations.
